About the Role
O\’Neill and Brennan are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team on projects in the Yeovil area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating finishes, ensuring work is completed on time and to a professional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces by sanding, filling, priming, and undercoating.
- Applying paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes to interiors and exteriors.
- Mixing and matching paint colours as required.
- Ensuring a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Liaising with site managers and clients to ensure work meets expectations.
- Following health & safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.
- Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Knowledge of different paints, finishes, and application techniques.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Own tools and PPE.
- A valid CSCS card (preferred but not always essential).
- Driving licence and own transport desirable.
