O'Neill & Brennan are currently working with a well-established, privately owned main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Syon Lane. The business delivers a varied portfolio of education and residential refurbishment, extension and new build projects, typically ranging up to £5m in value, across West London and the surrounding areas. With multiple live projects running concurrently, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who enjoys managing several schemes at once and taking full ownership of the commercial process from procurement through to final account.
You will be joining a close-knit and supportive team where you will have genuine autonomy, working directly with senior management while playing a key role in the continued growth of the business.

- Location: Syon Lane (Projects across West London & surrounding areas)
- Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + Package or £275 – £325 per day (Outside IR35)
- Start: ASAP, although they can wait for the right person

Responsibilities:
- Taking full commercial responsibility for a portfolio of refurbishment, extension and new build projects from procurement through to final account
- Preparing subcontract enquiries, analysing tenders, negotiating terms and making recommendations for award
- Managing subcontractor valuations, payments, variations and final accounts
- Producing CVRs, cost reporting, forecasts and monthly commercial reports across multiple live projects
- Working closely with operational teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities while maintaining robust cost control throughout each project's lifecycle
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and the wider supply chain
