Job Description
Be part of an exciting greenfield development in Long Ashton, Bristol, delivering a new UK headquarters for an international client. This major project, spanning 5–10 years across multiple phases, includes flagship office buildings, underground car parks, civil infrastructure, and utility structures. The development involves complex construction elements such as piled walls, concrete basements, glulam timber frames, and cross-laminated timber (CLT) construction, alongside significant civil works including drainage, infrastructure, and bridges.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 2 contractor on this landmark project. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kickstart their career in quantity surveying, working within a dynamic and supportive team on a high-profile development.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for project packages

Support the measurement and valuation of works, including subcontractor packages

Help manage cost control and reporting for assigned project elements

Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and forecasting

Contribute to the preparation of tender documents and contract administration

Work closely with senior quantity surveyors to gain hands-on experience in managing complex construction packages
Key Requirements:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Basic understanding of construction processes, ideally including civil works or complex structures
