A leading contractor is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer / Package Manager to join their team on a high-profile project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically complex scheme, taking ownership of the BMS package from installation through to commissioning and handover. You will play a key role in delivering a fully integrated Building Management System, ensuring quality, performance, and compliance across all stages of the project.
Role Overview
- Manage the full BMS package lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion
- Coordinate with M&E teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and integration of BMS systems
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
- Monitor and enforce health & safety on site
- Review technical submittals, drawings, and specifications
- Support testing, commissioning, and final handover
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of BMS subcontractors
- Programme management and progress reporting
- Quality assurance and compliance checks
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BMS Engineer or BMS Package Manager
- Strong knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider)
- Experience working on large-scale commercial or residential projects
- Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple disciplines
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Relevant qualifications in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS (preferred)
