They are on the lookout for an Assistant Design Manager in their East Midlands Region working on Student Accommodation Projects. If you\’re a Design coordinator or an Assistant Design Manager, then I would love to hear from you
Required to be site based, and support the Regional Technical Lead on all design related matters. Monitoring the design stages, to ensure robust to enable sub-contract and material orders to be placed. Track and manage change. Manage the online document management systems. Chair site level design workshops. Understanding of BREEAM, and tracking credit attainment. A knowledge of BSA is preferred,
About you:
- Have experience working on High Rise Residential projects or multi room projects previously
- As an Assistant Design Manager, you will be responsible for all design and technical aspects of the project
- Collaborate with the Senior Design Manager and wider team to deliver the programme on time
- Oversee document control with regards to registration and distribution of design and technical information
- Review sub-contractors drawings and hold package review meetings with relevant site team members
