About Oneglobal

On a mission to reinvigorate broking, Oneglobal is a commercial insurance and reinsurance broker set up with the singular focus of improving the way in which businesses around the world manage risk via insurance. We think broking needs a refresh, and that our approach builds that foundation. We have ambitious plans for the future and are looking to grow our talented team.

The role

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced individual to join our team on a 15-month fixed-term contract. The role will work closely with the executive leadership team, namely the Global COO, to lead and deliver operational process improvements and efficiencies, and business transformation projects globally. The role will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve business objectives. This role will specifically lead delivery of the OpenTWINS system migration programme, working closely with the business, IT and third-party delivery partners. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and shape Oneglobal’s growing international network of offices. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and will be passionate about project management and delivering proactive solutions for the business. Based in our London office, this role will work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to drive change initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to the achievement of strategic business objectives. The role will be operating in an inclusive culture with a supportive environment to learn on the job and develop your skillset.

Key Accountabilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the OpenTWINS system migration and other business transformation projects, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with global strategic goals.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success measures and delivery approach (e.g. Agile, Waterfall or hybrid) appropriate to each project.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies).
  • Establish project governance: chair or support steering committees, and produce RAG-rated status reports and board-level updates.
  • Regularly review project success criteria, metrics, and test and deployment management activities, including UAT sign-off and go-live/cutover planning.
  • Build and manage a RACI matrix and resource plan across internal teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Manage project budgets and track spend against forecast, including ownership of vendor statements of work and purchase orders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops and stakeholder updates.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders, operational teams, brokers and support functions.
  • Support the successful adoption of new processes and systems, specifically the implementation of and migration to OpenTWINS, including change impact assessment, training and business readiness.
  • Support wider automation, digitisation and transformation programmes.
  • Ensure projects comply with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
  • Identify and escalate significant risks, issues and dependencies appropriately.
  • Coordinate activities with external vendors, consultants, insurers and technology partners, including the OpenTWINS delivery partner.
  • Capture lessons learned and support post-implementation benefits realisation.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the London (re)insurance Market.
  • Proven experience delivering system migration, platform implementation, or core system replacement projects, ideally within (re)insurance or financial services.
  • Experience of, or exposure to, Lloyd's market systems and processes (e.g. placing, claims, delegated authority); direct experience of OpenTWINS or a comparable Lloyd's/London market platform is highly advantageous.
  • Recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP, or an Agile/Scrum certification) desirable.
  • Ability to manage third-party vendors and supplier relationships, including statement of work and contract oversight.
  • Strong process improvement and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project coordination capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at senior and executive level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and budgets.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across different levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
