Curious about a career in Protection? If you’re looking for a rewarding role where you can help protect people and their families, and support customers when they need us most, these opportunities could be for you.

We have two exciting opportunities available within our Underwriting and Claims teams:

Underwriting Support

In this role, you’ll gain valuable insight into how underwriting works, from point of sale through to risk assessment. You’ll support essential administrative activity, manage interactions across key underwriting touch points, help maintain the underwriting mailbox, assist with policy reinstatments and enquiries, liaise with our third-party medical evidence provider, and contribute to preparation for reinsurer audits.

Please check our careers page for further information on the Claims Handler role.

These are fantastic opportunities for people who want to develop their understanding of underwriting and claims, build confidence in customer communication, and be part of a team focused on doing the right thing for our customers.

For the right people, these roles also offer potential progression towards trainee underwriter or claims assessor positions, supported by our soon to launch Underwriting & Claims career pathways. These pathways are designed to help you progress through different levels of authority sign-off by achieving clear criteria, with salary increments along the way and opportunities to develop towards senior-level roles.
