Curious about a career in Protection? If you’re looking for a rewarding role where you can help protect people and their families, and support customers when they need us most, these opportunities could be for you. We have two exciting opportunities available within our Underwriting and Claims teams:
- Claims Handler – In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of one of the most important moments in a protection policy: the claim. You’ll speak directly with claimants, showing empathy and compassion as you guide them through the process. You’ll also carry out administrative duties against agreed SLAs to help ensure claims are assessed and managed as smoothly as possible. One of the most rewarding parts of the role is sharing the claims decision with claimants, often during an emotional but meaningful conversation.
These are fantastic opportunities for people who want to develop their understanding of underwriting and claims, build confidence in customer communication, and be part of a team focused on doing the right thing for our customers. For the right people, these roles also offer potential progression towards trainee underwriter or claims assessor positions, supported by our soon to launch Underwriting & Claims career pathways. These pathways are designed to help you progress through different levels of authority sign-off by achieving clear criteria, with salary increments along the way and opportunities to develop towards senior-level roles.
Interviews to commence week commencing 17th August 2026.
