We’re looking for a senior pricing leader to optimise the commercial performance and sustainability of our UK Protection portfolio. You’ll own pricing strategy and reinsurance design, balancing profitability, customer value and capital efficiency, and will provide trusted actuarial insight to Protection leadership.
Key Accountabilities
- Set and deliver protection pricing strategy to drive sustainable, competitive trading performance.
- Optimise reinsurance structures and partnerships to manage risk and improve capital efficiency.
- Own pricing models and performance monitoring across protection products, using insight-led analysis.
- Ensure strong pricing governance, fair value outcomes and Consumer Duty/regulatory compliance.
- Lead and develop a high-performing pricing and reinsurance team.
About you
- Qualified actuary with extensive post-qualification experience in UK protection pricing.
- Deep expertise in protection reinsurance design and ongoing management.
- Strong commercial track record owning pricing strategy, models and trading performance.
- Advanced modelling skills and high technical standards for data quality and governance.
- Experienced people leader within regulated financial services, with strong knowledge of Consumer Duty and pricing regulation.
