Enterprise Risk Support Analyst (Fixed-Term, Part-Time Contract)
Risk & Governance ¦ OneFamily
Are you an experienced risk professional looking to shape the future of Enterprise Risk Management in a growing financial services organisation? This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in designing and embedding a forward-looking ERM framework following the merger of two organisations.
About the Role
We’re looking for an Enterprise Risk Support Analyst to work closely with the Heads of ERM, supporting the development of a future-state Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework for the newly merged OneFamily entity.
This is a hands-on, project-based role where you’ll help design, document, and embed risk frameworks, policies, and processes that will underpin how risk is managed across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a central role in shaping the ERM landscape, including:
- Reviewing existing risk frameworks, policies, and processes across both organisations to identify similarities and gaps
- Supporting the design of the future-state ERM framework, including governance structures and decision-making processes
- Drafting key documentation such as:
- Risk appetite statements and frameworks
- Risk management policies across the risk universe
- Process documentation and operating procedures
- Creating high-quality briefing and presentation materials for stakeholder approval and communication
- Developing tools, templates, and training materials to support implementation across the business
- Coordinating with business risk owners to finalise and embed policies
- Reviewing and updating governance and control frameworks, including material controls, to reflect the merged entity
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and collaboration skills:
Experience
- Proven experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) within Financial Services, ideally insurance or investments
- Strong experience drafting and developing risk governance and compliance documentation
- Experience creating communication materials, presentations, and training content in a risk context
- Background in controls evaluation and documentation
- Experience working in evolving or transformation environments
Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Confident stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
