We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Driver to support our operations on a short-term fixed contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vans in accordance with road traffic laws and company procedures
  • Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and on schedule
  • Load and unload goods where required
  • Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after journeys
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
  • Ensure goods are handled safely and securely
  • Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and colleagues
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous van driving or delivery experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of local routes and road safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and organised
  • Physically able to load and unload items where necessary
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Working Hours

  • Friday 22nd May 8am-8pm
  • Saturday 23rd May 8am-8pm
  • Sunday 24th May 8am-8pm

Pay

Hourly rate £12.71

Additional Information

This is a temporary fixed-term role for a limited number of days. The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of right to work in the UK. A clean driving licence is required.
