Join our Team as a Bid Administrator
Location: Remote, UK
Contract: 12-month Maternity Cover
Hours: Mon- Fri, 9am - 5:30pm
About the role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Bid Administrator to join us on a 12-month maternity cover contract, supporting the creation and submission of high‑quality bids and proposals. You’ll play a key role in coordinating cross‑functional teams, ensuring proposals are compelling, accurate, and submitted on time. From managing bid activities to supporting post‑submission reviews and onboarding, you’ll be central to helping Onecom win and deliver outstanding customer solutions.

- Proven experience supporting or coordinating bids, proposals, tenders, or RFI/RFP responses
- Strong background working in a cross‑functional environment, collaborating with Sales, technical teams, and subject matter experts
- Experience reviewing, editing, or producing written content with high attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple contributors and deadlines within a structured process
- Skilled in gathering facts, data, and technical information to build accurate bid content
- Comfortable working independently and driving progress without close supervision
- Excellent communication style; clear, consistent, and able to build rapport quickly
- Calm, tactful, and tenacious when managing competing priorities and tight timelines
- Highly organised, reliable, and motivated by delivering polished, error‑free outputs
- Strong integrity and professionalism, especially in pressured or sensitive bid situations
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end proposal development process for RFIs and RFPs
- Coordinate input from Sales, subject matter experts, Consultants, Project Managers, and Partners
- Schedule and run bid kick‑off sessions and check‑in calls
- Track actions and ensure all contributors meet deadlines
- Review and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to RFP guidelines
- Maintain consistency, quality, and compliance across all bid documents
- Oversee the timely preparation and submission of all required materials
- Support post‑submission activities including debriefs, presentation collateral, and outcome analysis
- Identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous enhancement of bid processes
- Assist with supplier onboarding and supplier assurance requirements following contract awards
