Onecall24 Healthcare are recruiting for a team of healthcare assistants to provide care to our client living in their own home. Our client has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and likes to get out and about. Enjoys the cinema, bowling and playing PlayStation, able to make decisions independently and choose how he wants to spend his day. We are looking for a team that will help him engage in all of these activities. Due to their complex health conditions and care requirements we require a non-smoker.
We are recruiting for a dedicated team of complex care assistants who are comfortable driving a van and committed to supporting this package of care on an ongoing basis. Full training and clinical support will be given to all of our team.
We ask that you have experience in the following areas:
- Adult Nursing
- BiPap
- Cough assist
- Peg
Within this role you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing key health provision functions throughout the entire week, across both days and/or night shifts. Duties may include supporting with PEG management, administering medication, moving and handling, personal care and healthcare tasks related specifically to the person-centred needs of our client, to ensure that our client remains completely safe and comfortable in their own home environment. You will be fully supported at all times by our qualified Nurse Managers, that oversee all Onecall24 Healthcare packages of care.
You will form a key part of the Onecall24 Healthcare complex care team within this role, becoming part of a team that truly believes in quality and person-centred care. You will receive full training in all specialist and person-centred elements of care delivery and 24-hour support. Due to the nature and potential location of this work, access to your own transport is essential.
