Healthcare Support Workers – Complex Care
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Pay Rates: Starting at £15.00 to £16.25
Shift Pattern: 9:00AM – 9:00PM (set monthly rota)
About the Role
Are you a caring, patient, and dedicated person who loves making a real difference?
We\’re looking for a warm and reliable Healthcare Assistant to provide 2:1 home‑based support to a lovely client in their own home. If you enjoy bringing comfort, joy, and stability to someone\’s daily life, this role might be perfect for you.
You must be able to work 24+ hours per week. Full UK drivers licences
Qualifications and Experience
- Full‑time wheelchair user
- Small and slight build
- Diagnoses of ASD, anxiety, generalised dystonia, lymphoedema and dysphagia
- Catheter and NG tube in situ
- Sometimes requires 2:1 support for moving and handling
- Ceiling track hoist in place at home
- High level of care required for moving, handling and repositioning
This role would suit a provider with experience in complex care, strong communication skills, and flexibility to travel. A calm, patient and professional approach is essential.
