About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a young male client with complex medical needs at home.
- Personal care
- Gastrostomy feeding
- Medication management
- Mobility support
- Follow care plans: tracheostomy, oxygen therapy, physiotherapy, seizure management
The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and experienced with non-verbal communication and complex care.
Qualifications
- Experience with gastrostomy (PEG/J) feeding and nutrition management
- Tracheostomy care and suctioning
- Seizure recognition and administration of emergency epilepsy medication
- Oxygen therapy and clinical observations
- Supporting non-verbal communication
