We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support our male client in his home environment. The role involves providing high-quality care while working closely with his family to ensure his wellbeing, comfort and safety.
Location: Shepton Mallet, Somerset
Pay Rate: £13.25 – £22.00 per hour
Shifts: Nights – 21:30 to 07:00
Requirements: All candidates must be drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal and medical care to the client in a home setting.
- Work closely with the client's family to coordinate care and share updates.
- Maintain the client's safety, comfort and hygiene.
- Assist with medication administration and monitoring of health status.
- Support mobility, repositioning and the use of equipment such as bipap ventilator.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of exceeding core values and helping clients achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Experience with bipap ventilator and other respiratory support equipment.
- Experience with moving and handling, including correct repositioning techniques.
- Knowledge of Wendylet Sheets or similar patient care supplies.
- Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.
