An amazing opportunity has come up in Sidford for carers as OneCall24 Healthcare are looking to recruit a team of carers to work with a remarkable young lady who was diagnosed with a brain tumour and is now visually impaired and epileptic, requiring ongoing support during the day. Our client is very outgoing and enjoys many fun activities and hobbies. This role will allow the carers to be heavily involved with supporting her with all of her amazing activities on a day-to-day basis as well as always providing her with exceptional healthcare support.
We want our carers to be able to deliver person centred care in line with a personalised care plan created specifically to meet the needs of our individual clients. This is an enjoyable and rewarding position for someone who is caring and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young people and their families.
Responsibilities
- Support the young lady with day-to-day activities and hobbies as described in the personalised care plan.
- Deliver person centred care in line with the clientβs needs and care plan.
- Coordinate with Nurse Managers to ensure the highest standards of care and professional development.
Qualifications
- We ask that you have experience in the following areas: Moving and Handling (Desirable but training will be provided)
