One Call Consultants are looking for a reliable Class 2 Moffett Driver to join our client based in Saltley B8. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 commercial vehicle, including flatbed trucks, to deliver goods efficiently and securely to various locations. Your expertise in driving and delivery will ensure timely service while maintaining the highest safety standards. You will also be able to drive the moffett truck when at locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class 2 commercial vehicle, including moffett truck, for local or regional deliveries.
  • Load, secure, and unload cargo with precision, ensuring all items are transported safely and intact.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each shift.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during every journey.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 2 driver’s license with ideally a clean driving record.
  • Valid Moffett license.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or similar vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
  • Experience with loading and securing cargo is highly desirable.
  • Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local roads and delivery routes.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, securing loads, and standing for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Average hours: 42.5 a week paid sometimes less but still paid full hours. Pay depends on experience. All deliveries are mainly West Midlands based. You will also be driving a brand new Renault Truck.
