One Call Consultants are looking for an accounts assistant to join our client based in Aston, Birmingham. Job roles are detailed as below:
- Bank payment allocation
- Note account numbers on remittances
- Filing
- Scanning – customer delivery notes and attached to their order
- Dispatch orders for invoicing (from delivery notes)
- Run invoicing
- Sort through invoices – portal accounts that require processing
- Credit control – emailing over 150 customers mid-month advising due balance at the end of the month; calling customers if no reply from email; professional when calling
- Incoming calls – transfer to other departments; take messages
- Process customer invoices on their personal portals
- Process cash/credit card payments
- Cash rec proforma accounts
- Adhoc duties – when accounts manager off; print/separate/forward emails
The hours of work are Monday – Thursday 8.30 – 17.00 and Fridays are 08.30 to 16.00. This role is an ongoing temp to perm position for the right person.
