We are seeking compassionate and dependable Healthcare Assistants to support an elderly gentleman in his home environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in his day-to-day life while working collaboratively with his family to promote dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing. The role involves supporting daily living activities, monitoring his condition, and always ensuring his comfort and safety.

The client experiences three types of seizures which, if not effectively managed, may lead to episodes of psychosis. Healthcare Assistants will be required to follow an established epilepsy care plan, including recognising seizure activity and administering prescribed emergency medication when necessary to minimise risk and ensure his safety.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support for a senior man in his home, ensuring safety and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living activities and monitor health conditions.
  • Follow an established epilepsy care plan, recognise seizures, and administer emergency medication as directed.
  • Work collaboratively with the client’s family to promote independence and well-being.
Qualifications
  • Experience caring for individuals with acquired brain injuries.
  • Must be a licensed driver.
Pay Rates
  • Monday – Friday (08:00–20:00): £14.00 per hour
  • Monday – Friday (20:00–08:00): £15.00 per hour
  • Friday Night (20:00–08:00): £15.00 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday (08:00–20:00): £15.00 per hour
  • Monday Morning (06:00–08:00): £14.00 per hour
  • Bank Holidays (Day & Night): £23.00 per hour
