About the Opportunity
In line with our vision, we have implemented a modern technology stack based around microservices. Your role as an automation software tester will ensure that our customer‑centric solutions meet our exacting expectations.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of systems implemented at Onebright, as well as embedding a culture of automated testing across the existing testing team.
We understand that not everyone will have the skills to jump straight into this role which is why we’ll provide extensive, on‑the‑job training to help you upskill.
What We Need From You
- Proven experience in manual testing (2+ years preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good ability to work under pressure
- Good experience of working in an Agile environment
- Good technical documentation skills
- Technical curiosity

- A passion and drive for delivering high‑quality software
We’ve embraced hybrid working and as such only need you to attend our York office once a month to meet up with the rest of the development team. Onebright will cover the cost of transport and hotels for each monthly visit.
