About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant to support a multi‑company, multi‑ledger finance operation. The Management Accountant will lead the Management Accounting Team and ensure accurate and timely reporting. Key duties include managing monthly outsourced payrolls, maintaining compliance with HMRC and pension regulations, and driving improvement of personal and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Management Accounting Team and oversee all reporting activities.
- Manage monthly outsourced payrolls ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets and forecasts for multiple entities.
- Develop and maintain governance and control frameworks.
- Provide coaching, development and performance management for team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Experience as a management accountant in a multi‑company/multi‑ledger group.
- Strong people‑management skills, including coaching and performance management.
- Intermediate Excel skills (SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, SUBTOTAL, pivot tables).
