OneAPPS Consulting is a technology consulting firm based out of London with offices across Europe. We are working on various projects involving diverse, multicultural teams with clients across Europe. With more than 7 locations worldwide, we help our clients deliver their projects smoothly.
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will provide 3rd line support within the MES Project Engineering team, understanding bespoke, detailed customer designs and providing technical ownership to the business's high-profile accounts through specialist technical expertise. You will add value through the issuance of detailed network solutions, as well as technical leadership and implementation support.
Responsibilities include:
- Project Delivery and Integration along with Project services (Design, Build and Deploy).
- Documenting, carrying out administrative tasks and commissioning tasks.
- Receiving implementation plans from Project Engineers for peer review.
- Assessing network topology and circuitry for project planning.
- Writing and providing configuration scripts for a variety of network devices and vendors.
- Supporting Project Engineers with the provision of configuration scripts.
- Monitoring customer networks during project changes and conducting risk assessments prior to and post any scheduled changes.
- Updating and building circuitry information into databases.
- Working with network components and systems such as Xtran, SDH, PDH.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- Relevant industry experience in the technology field.
- CCNA/CCDA certification (one or the other is acceptable).
