Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python + AWS Lead to design, develop, and deliver cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and Python frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in AWS components, API development, and Infrastructure as Code, along with leadership skills to guide teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications on AWS.
- Build and maintain serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and AppSync.
- Develop APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) and integrate with API Gateway.
- Implement monitoring and logging using CloudWatch and enforce security via IAM policies.
- Drive CI/CD pipeline implementation and manage deployments using GitLab Cloud and Terraform.
- Ensure adherence to development best practices such as TDD, pair programming, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver business-critical solutions.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Expertise in AWS Cloud services with Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, RESTful APIs, and aws-lambda-powertools.
- Proficiency in Python libraries: boto3, pydantic, pynamodb.
Good to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab Cloud.
- Knowledge of Terraform basics, RDS, AppSync, and SQS.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automated deployments.
