Brief Job Description:

β€’ Hardware Inventory Management ensuring stock levels are constantly monitored.

β€’ Hardware request and receipt through our internal ordering system.

β€’ Actively monitoring the ticket queue and managing requests through to completion.

β€’ Supporting events like annual Power down – post desk checkouts (PC/monitors/Mouse + Keyboard/desk phone/headset/webcam).

β€’ Category: L1 and L2 Support operations

β€’ Supports hardware decommissioning events.

β€’ Supports Business moves / changes – ensure involvement in early stages of planning.

β€’ Managing escalations through to conclusion.

β€’ Setup and installation of Temporary training rooms / Office wide events – Expo\’s.

β€’ Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

β€’ Image/re-image computers, configure IP phones and mobile phones.

Supports work from home hardware requests.

β€’ Ensure that policies and guidelines relating to overtime and expenses are adhered to. All local guidelines for cost control are adhered to.

β€’ Shift and Rota responsibility

β€’ Manage own workload to ensure that assigned activities are completed within targets defined within SLA’s/OLA’s

Experience

β€’ Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills.

β€’ Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales.

β€’ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

β€’ Knowledge of Windows operating system, applications, and computer hardware.

β€’ Interacting with other support groups across multiple platforms.

β€’ Experience using a help desk call management system.

β€’ Technical grasp of strategic platforms such as Microsoft, Networks and Security, WAN, LAN.

β€’ Experience in working with Banking and Financial organization is a plus.
