Role: IBOR Testing Consultant
Location: London
Role Overview
As an IBOR Testing Consultant, you will bridge the gap between financial operations and automation engineering. You will lead the quality assurance strategy for the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) platform, ensuring accurate data flows across positions, transactions, and valuations.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End IBOR Testing: Validate critical financial data flows, including positions, transactions, valuations, reconciliations, and performance reporting.
- Test Automation & SDET Execution: Design, build, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for both UI and API layers using modern tools.
- Data Validation & SQL: Write complex SQL queries to perform rigorous data validation, data profiling, and reconciliation testing across large datasets.
- Lifecycle Coverage: Manage and execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and automated regression suites.
- Agile Collaboration: Embed within an Agile team, collaborating daily with business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Required Skills & Experience
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle and investment operations across multiple asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, FX).
- Automation Engineering (SDET): Hands-on programming and automation experience using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- API Testing: Proven experience automating and validating RESTful APIs and web services.
- Data Capabilities: Advanced SQL skills with a strong track record in backend validation and reconciliation testing.
- Testing Lifecycle: Strong experience executing end-to-end testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Regression) within an Agile/Scrum framework.
Highly Desirable Skills
- SimCorp Dimension: Hands-on experience with SimCorp components including IBOR, Accounting, Corporate Actions, and Performance modules is a major advantage.
