We are looking for a full-time PR and content manager, specialising in copywriting, to join our lively, award-winning team in Norwich. As a PR and content manager, you will play a key role in one of the fastest-growing teams here at OneAgency. First and foremost, your writing skills need to blow us away. We’re looking for spark and style, paired with your ability to communicate a brand’s most important ideas confidently. Can you inspire, educate and entertain?
You will be writing content of all types, from SEO blog posts and press releases to technical white papers and social media posts. Helping clients develop their brand voice, you’ll be working with them to clarify, refine and develop their messaging in response to customer needs. Why not throw a video script and an email newsletter into the mix too? Basically, if it’s words, it’s your bag.
With a solid understanding of PR in all its guises, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple accounts with a split focus on PR/content creation and management. We work across B2B and B2C, but whatever the sector, a deep understanding of business objectives and brand strategy is the key to delivering real results.
You will work with clients to capture their briefs, find their stories and, importantly, meet their deadlines. The role will call on your hands-on experience of creating and executing PR plans and demands a proactive PR mindset. Building relationships with clients, partners, journalists, suppliers, and influencers across multiple sectors will be crucial to your success. We like ‘people people’.
You are a highly organised person who can prioritise effectively and get it done. One thing’s for sure, this role demands a dynamic and proactive approach; no two days are the same.
We’re looking for someone with previous agency experience (4+ years) and a good understanding of how PR and content fit into the broader marketing landscape.
Key responsibilities:- Conceiving and proposing PR campaigns to existing and potential clients
- Delivering successful PR campaigns that earn coverage from relevant media
- Content creation – researching, interviewing, copywriting, editing and proofreading original content for online and print. Working quickly and efficiently to deliver against deadlines
- Writing for multiple formats: news releases, technical features, blogs, email copy, website and brochure copy
- Writing copy that meets SEO best practice guidelines
- Collaborating with in-house and external teams to deliver content, including video, advertisements, websites and more
- Understanding results and reporting on content/PR campaigns.
- Proven, high-level editorial and content writing skills
- Analytical thinking with strong data skills
- An understanding of SEO/search is a bonus but not essential
- Experience having worked across a range of brands
- B2B experience and working on technical accounts would be an advantage
- Track record of organising/project managing campaign asset delivery
- Good working knowledge of social media and its applications within marketing.
