The Graduation Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering change via strategic and tactical Graduation projects that ultimately drive the One Advanced Graduation strategy. With a direct reporting line to the Graduations Operational Director, the role requires effective planning, execution and review of identified Graduation projects including oversight of any risks and issues arising with well documented and communicated project risks. The Senior Graduation Project Manager will be given set internal projects that are designed to achieve documented outcomes for internal teams and our customers. A proven ability to execute projects and initiatives is critical for the success of this role, as well as the ability to network cross-functionally to define, deliver and execute graduation projects. Ultimately, the Graduations Senior Project Manager should be motivated by a desire to optimise productivity and nurture project success from inception to completion.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with the Graduation Programmes Lead and the Graduation Operational Director to identify key projects and required outcomes that progress the Graduation strategy.
  • Manage internal projects supporting the Graduation strategy within the boundaries of time, budget and quality as well as contributing to cross-project initiatives.
  • Be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives and identify key requirements for cross-functional teams.
  • Analyse, evaluate, and track project risks, providing clear mitigation actions and owners.
  • Ensure that scope is monitored and controlled on projects and that any deviation is proactively addressed through re-planning and change control, where necessary, to safeguard overall programme baselines.
  • Concise and effective communication of project status to a range of stakeholders utilising high levels of presentation and documentation skills.

What You Will Have

  • Must have experience of project management with focus on internal stakeholder management, reporting and delivery.
  • Exceptional skills in time management, facilitation, and organisation.
  • Experience of managing complex IT software projects using established project/program management disciplines and methodologies.
  • Recognised project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, etc. is preferable.
  • Experience of managing projects in a globally distributed matrix organisation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal and comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders, from team to board level.
  • Able to take metric and data sources to drive decision making and prioritisation.
  • A natural leader with strong talent for decision quality driven by key business insight and Graduation deliverables.
