We’re looking for a Learning Programme Lead to design and own a portfolio of high impact development programmes that shape our future workforce. This is a pivotal role focused on building structured talent pipelines across mentoring, apprenticeship and high potential development. You’ll combine programme design, data insights, and stakeholder influence to create scalable solutions that drive capability, progression, and retention. If you enjoy building programmes from the ground up and linking learning to real career outcomes, this role offers genuine scope to make an impact. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of 2–3 days per week in our Birmingham office.
What You Will Do
- Design structured, scalable programme journeys aligned to career pathways
- Use skills and capability data to identify gaps and build targeted solutions
- Partner with Talent, HR, and business leaders to align programmes to workforce strategy
- Manage programme delivery, timelines, and external providers
- Leverage digital platforms and emerging AI tools to enhance learning
- Track programme impact and continuously improve based on insights
What You Will Have
- Experience owning or leading structured learning programmes
- A track record in talent programme design
- Strong data and insight capability (skills frameworks, workforce planning, or similar)
- The ability to translate business needs into scalable development programmes
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
- Experience in a fast paced or evolving environment (tech/software a plus, not essential)
