Role Introduction As a key member of our Higher Education team, the HE Account Manager will work closely with the Account Director to drive growth and success within the Higher Education sector. This role is designed to be developmental, with the Account Director providing structured support in learning our portfolio of products, understanding the HE sector, and building core account management skills. Success in this role relies on strong collaboration, ensuring targets are met through a shared effort in account development, opportunity management, and revenue achievement. What You Will Do Manage relationships across a complex portfolio Manage the sales cycle from initial opportunity to close Generate and close opportunities within the existing customer base Provide accurate sales forecasts for monthly and yearly planning Develop and maintain account plans to achieve sales targets Key Responsibilities Account Support & Growth: Collaborate with the Account Director to manage HE accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and growth. Contract & Revenue Management: Support contract processes, ensure renewals, and oversee revenue metrics like NRR and ARR. Account Planning & Review: Conduct regular reviews, monitor feedback, and maintain account plans aligned with strategic goals. Internal Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement. Professional Development & Learning: Develop expertise in products, market trends, and the HE sector through training and self-learning. Key Success Metrics Achievement of revenue and growth targets Effective management of contracts and revenue retention Actionable account plans supporting long-term relationships Strong collaboration and communication Progression in learning and professional development What You Will Have Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience in account management, customer success, or sales support, preferably in software or HE. Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude, and passion for learning about the HE sector and software solutions for education.
