The Account Director will lead strategic commercial relationships across the Midlands, focusing on senior leadership and commissioning stakeholders at ICBs, PCNs, Federations, Alliances and regional NHS digital teams. The role will act as the senior commercial representative, developing partnerships that drive product adoption and digital transformation at scale. While an Account Manager focuses on practice‑level engagement and sales, this role concentrates on network‑level influence, territory strategy, funding pathways and high‑value commercial conversations. It is a senior, highly autonomous position suited to someone who can navigate NHS structures, influence decision‑makers and create momentum for adoption across large geographic and organisational footprints.
What You Will Do
- Build and deepen relationships with senior NHS stakeholders across ICBs, PCNs, Federations, clinical leadership groups, and digital transformation boards.
- Position OneAdvanced as a strategic partner in regional programmes focused on workflow optimisation, automation, and digital‑first patient care.
- Map decision pathways, funding routes, and transformation priorities within each ICB and sub‑regional structure.
- Create and execute a regional growth strategy leveraging top‑down influence to support practice‑level adoption.
- Drive awareness and endorsement of Docman, Docman AI, Patchs, and workflow platforms at system level to accelerate uptake.
- Secure network‑wide agreements, memorandums of understanding, pilots, or clinical safety endorsements that support territory scaling.
- Partner closely with the Account Manager responsible for individual practice relationships and sales execution.
- Share insights, introductions, network endorsements, and strategic guidance to strengthen practice‑level pipeline.
- Align on territory plans, regional messaging, and customer outcomes to maintain a seamless customer experience.
- Provide deep insight into NHS digital transformation priorities, commissioning trends, and workflow challenges across the region.
- Identify system‑wide opportunities for product expansion and regional pilots.
- Act as a senior voice of the customer to product, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Represent OneAdvanced at system‑level meetings, digital boards, PCN leadership events, and regional conferences.
- Recruit and cultivate ambassadors across ICBs and PCNs to champion the adoption.
- Support creation of regional case studies, best practice materials, and success stories.
What You Will Have
- Significant experience in NHS‑facing commercial roles, particularly with ICBs, PCNs or system‑level digital leaders.
- Strong understanding of Primary Care operations, pressures, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage strategic stakeholders, influence network‑level adoption, and navigate complex decision‑making environments.
- High commercial acumen, especially in consultative and solution‑based discussions.
- Skilled at collaborating across teams and supporting colleagues delivering on‑the‑ground activity.
- Experience working within NHS digital programmes or health technology solutions such as practice workflow, automation, clinical systems.
- Understanding of NHS funding mechanisms including ICB funding, Digital First Primary Care, Transformation Funds, ARRS workflows, and PCN contractual requirements.
- Experience developing regional partnerships or scaling digital tools across large clinical networks.
- Competent on Salesforce and Gong.
