We're looking for a hands-on Boomi Integration Specialist to own the health and stability of our integration landscape. You'll be the first line of defence for data sync issues across our core platforms, driving ticket resolution down to near-zero through proactive monitoring, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. This role is critical during revenue-sensitive periods, month-end, quarter-end, where you'll be expected to operate with urgency, precision, and calm under pressure.
What You Will Do
- Monitor service desk tickets intake and triage daily, proactively identifying and resolving failures before they become tickets.
- Own the integration support queue, triaging, prioritising, and resolving tickets with a clear focus on keeping volume consistently low and SLAs tight.
- Investigate and resolve data sync failures between Salesforce, NetSuite, OpenAir, and ServiceNow, diagnosing issues at the source and fixing at the root cause, not the symptom.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with platform teams (Salesforce Admins, NetSuite Admins, ServiceNow Admins) to co-ordinate cross-platform fixes.
- Act as the primary technical contact for Finance and Sales Operations during data discrepancy escalations, translating technical issues into business-clear updates.
Revenue-Period Focus:
- Lead integration stability efforts during month-end and quarter-end close, ensuring zero-tolerance for data sync failures that impact revenue recognition, billing, or reporting.
- Maintain a pre-close checklist and execute integration health checks ahead of critical financial periods.
- Provide real-time support and on-call availability during close periods as required.
Continuous Improvement:
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent fixes or process guardrails.
- Document integration maps, error handling logic, and known issue resolutions in a maintained knowledge base.
- Identify patterns in ticket volumes and proactively redesign fragile processes to reduce failure rates.
- Collaborate with the Core Business Systems team on integration enhancements, new connector builds, and platform upgrades.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with Finance and Sales Operations to understand upstream data requirements and translate them into integration logic.
- Participate in platform team standups and change advisory discussions to flag integration dependencies before deployments.
- Present clear, non-technical updates to business stakeholders during incidents or escalations.
What Success Looks Like:
- Integration support ticket volume trending consistently toward zero.
- Zero revenue-impacting data sync failures during month-end and quarter-end close.
- High stakeholder satisfaction scores from Finance and Sales Operations.
- Boomi process failure rate below agreed SLA threshold.
- Maintained, accurate integration documentation and runbooks.
What You Will Have:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere (Process building, Atom management, error handling, alerting).
- Deep working knowledge of integrations across Salesforce, NetSuite, OpenAir, and ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of data sync patterns, bi-directional sync, upsert logic, field mapping, delta detection.
- Experience triaging and resolving integration support tickets in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and connector configuration.
- Experience working directly with finance teams and sales operations stakeholders to diagnose and resolve data discrepancies.
- Ability to read and interpret platform-side error logs across Salesforce, NetSuite, and ServiceNow.
- Understanding of month-end and quarter-end close processes and the data dependencies they carry.
Desirable:
- Boomi Associate or Professional Developer certification.
- Experience with ticket management platforms.
- Exposure to alternative iPaaS platforms.
- Python or scripting skills for lightweight automation and data validation.
- Experience in a SaaS or professional services environment.
