You'll be joining an award-winning People team β€” recognised as CIPD People Team of the Year and HR Excellence People Team of the Year β€” inside a business named among the FT's Best Employers in Europe and one of the UK's most innovative companies.

If you love running apprenticeship strategy with real rigour, making external learning spend work harder, and turning data into decisions β€” and you want to do it at a company investing seriously in AI capability across its entire workforce β€” we'd love to hear from you.

What You Will Do

  • Lead apprenticeship, internship and graduate strategy, programmes, governance and levy use, ensuring we make the most of every pound invested.
  • Manage our apprenticeship providers end-to-end, overseeing compliance and completion rates.
  • Manage external training requests, approvals and budgets, keeping spend accountable and outcomes visible.
  • Recommend suppliers and evaluate learning outcomes, ensuring every partner and programme earns its place.
  • Own learning reporting, dashboards and performance metrics, giving the business a clear, accurate view of what's working.
  • Support annual planning, forecasting and budget tracking for the wider learning function.
  • Use data to identify capability gaps and opportunities β€” including where our AI upskilling agenda needs to go next.
  • Act as a trusted operational partner to the People team, bringing structure and consistency to a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

What You Will Have

  • Proven experience managing apprenticeship strategy, levy use and provider relationships, ideally within a fast-paced, scaling organisation.
  • A strong track record in external learning budget management, supplier evaluation and vendor performance.
  • Confidence building and owning learning reporting, dashboards and metrics, with a sharp eye for data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Experience supporting annual planning, forecasting and budget tracking within an L&D or People function.
  • A genuine curiosity about AI and emerging learning technology, and enthusiasm for helping colleagues build new capability.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the commercial instinct to manage contracts and supplier relationships effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment.
  • A continuous improvement mindset β€” always looking for the smarter, simpler, more scalable way of doing things.
