We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee all aspects of our bar operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent people management skills, and a deep knowledge of beverages and bar operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations and ensure high standards of service and product quality
- Recruit, train, schedule, and manage bar staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment
- Develop and implement innovative drink menus and seasonal specialties that align with current trends and customer preferences
- Manage inventory, place orders with suppliers, and control costs while maintaining product quality
- Monitor bar revenue and expenses, analyze sales reports, and implement strategies to increase profitability
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing laws and regulations
- Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the kitchen and restaurant management team to ensure seamless service
- Organize and promote special events to attract customers and increase revenue
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in bar management or similar role
- Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and current industry trends
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
- Proficiency in bar POS systems and inventory management software
- Valid food safety and alcohol service certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
