Our client, an award winning market leader in their field, are looking for an experienced Payroll and Benefits Officer to join their growing team.
CIPP study support is offered along with an excellent benefits package.
You will be working closely with the Payroll Manager and team preparing end to end payroll for multiple sites., Ensuring the smooth running of the payroll process, making sure that employees are paid accurately and on time.
Payroll calculations such as statutory payments (SMP, SPP and SSP) and national minimum wage.
Resolving any payroll issues that arise.
Providing monthly payroll reviews for senior management.
Administering the employee benefit programme including new starters, leavers and obtaining information from benefit providers at time of renewal.
Proactively promoting the benefits programme to all employees and replying to queries.
Processing expenses and credit card claims – liaising with relevant heads of department.
You must have previous experience of running end to end UK payrolls, be fully up to speed with payroll legislation and ideally have a payroll qualification such as CIPP or similar. You will have strong time management, communication and numeracy skills.
