Accounts Assistant

Our client, a market leader in their field, is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.

The role offers AAT study support, career progression and the opportunity to develop new skills.

You will be working closely with the Accounts Manager as part of a team and responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with purchase ledger preparation and inputting invoices.
  • Assisting with credit control and debt management eg. Chasing and documenting queries.
  • Supporting the Cashier with cash posting and allocation.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations, highlighting and referring issues.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial information for month end and annual audits.
  • Supporting the finance team with all administrative tasks such as scanning and filing of remittance advices and debit notes.

Ideally you will have at least 1-2 years' accounts experience and be keen to learn and focus on developing a career within finance.

You must have excellent numeracy, accuracy, communication and organisation skills.
