To be considered for this role, applicants must have prior experience as a lecturer, teacher, tutor, trainer, or instructor in motor vehicle or automotive engineering. While this is primarily a remote position, candidates are also welcome to work on-site at one of the provider’s locations in the heart of London Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Teacher, Automotive Lecturer, Workshop Trainer, Tutor, or Instructor with a Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Motor Vehicle Technology, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline? A national training provider is offering an opportunity to deliver Motor Vehicle and Automotive Engineering courses to students aged 16–19 in the Further Education sector. How You Will Work Theory-Based Teaching – Deliver theory lessons in motor vehicle technology, vehicle diagnostics, mechanical servicing, health and safety, and repair techniques remotely using platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Moodle. Apprenticeship Support – Provide support to apprentices working on-site with their employers by delivering remote sessions, offering guidance, regular check-ins, and online assistance to help learners complete their qualifications. Blended Learning Approach – Although primarily remote, the role follows a blended delivery model. You may be required to attend in-person sessions once every fortnight for practical assessments or hands-on demonstrations. All travel expenses for these visits will be fully covered. What’s on Offer * £26–£50 per hour * 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week * Term-time only (195 working days per year) * One-year rolling contract with the potential to become permanent * Travel expenses covered for occasional site visits (once every two weeks) Who Can Apply We welcome applications from qualified Motor Vehicle lecturers, automotive trainers, workshop tutors, and instructors.
