We are recruiting for both full and part time chefs and kitchen assistants to join our team. Located in Edinburgh city centre, we are a medium sized family operated restaurant and wine cafe that has been open for 8 years. We serve a range of 'continental based' breakfasts, lunches, dinners as well as smaller tapas plates and platters.
Chef (full or part time) roles include:
- Daily food preparation
- Cooking in service
- Stock control and ordering
Kitchen assistant (full or part time) roles include:
- Food prep
- Cooking and preparing batches of the main menu items such as lasagne, parmagiana, tiramisu etc.
- Assisting the main chef when required
- Helping with setting up and closing down
All applicants must be professional, maintain high hygiene standards and have a positive hard working attitude. We operate from an open kitchen and therefore applicants must be very organised and work in a clean and tidy manner.
