Young Persons Activity Worker in Stevenage

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Young Persons\’ Activity Worker to join our team. This role empowers young people aged 16‑17 to engage in meaningful activities that promote personal growth, community involvement, and a sense of belonging.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the running and delivery of engagement and intervention activities for young people living at One YMCA accommodation sites.
• Empower and inspire young people to engage in meaningful activities that foster community and a strong sense of belonging.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Demonstrated caring, approachable attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with people.
• Flexibility and a team‑oriented approach to work.
• Possession of a Basic or Enhanced DBS check (required following a conditional offer).
