We are recruiting a Programme Coordinator to support the delivery, development, and monitoring of our Airplay provision. Reporting to the Airplay Programme Manager, the role involves coordinating national and local programmes, supporting partner delivery, and managing youth work staff at selected RAF Stations.
Key Responsibilities
• Support oversight and monitoring of subcontracted Airplay projects
• Track performance against KPIs and maintain accurate reporting and CRM data
• Support delivery of national programmes including Airplay Connect
• Coordinate local Airplay delivery at identified RAF Stations
• Line manage Station Youth Workers across multiple sites
• Identify opportunities for innovation, growth, and partnership working
• Lead on recruitment for RAF Station roles and support staff development
• Flag risks or underperformance and recommend corrective action
About You
• Experience coordinating youth or community programmes, with strong organisational, communication, and reporting skills
• Experience line managing staff across multiple sites
• A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people
• A relevant qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience, ideally including a Level 3 Youth or Playwork qualification
• First Aid at Work and Child Protection/Safeguarding Level 3 (or willingness to undertake training where required)
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as some Airplay sites are not accessible by public transport
