Overview
Customer Service Advisor – Out of Hours Team, Corporate Hub
Location: Customer Service Centre, Lancaster House, Lincoln
Hours: 20 hours per week, 12 weeks. Shifts include overnight (midnight to 8am), evenings, weekends, and all public holidays. Core hours are Monday–Thursday 17:30–08:00 and Friday to Monday 17:30–08:00.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for the Out of Hours service on the Lincolnshire County Council contract, handling emergency calls related to Adults and Children's Social Care.
- Deal with calls from professionals (e.g., Police and Health Services) and members of the public; gather and process information efficiently and accurately.
- Respond to calls about District Council Services (e.g., Council Housing Repairs) and other local services including Libraries and Heritage inquiries.
About you
- Demonstrate a passion for delivering excellent customer service with strong communication skills.
- Be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
- Have good IT skills, with competency in using Microsoft Office and Windows.
