One Way is currently looking for an experienced Slinger / Signaller to join a construction project in Swansea, starting Monday.
Duties will include:
- Safely slinging and signalling loads during lifting operations.
- Attaching and securing loads to lifting equipment using the correct lifting accessories.
- Directing crane operators and plant operators using recognised signals and communication methods.
- Checking lifting accessories and reporting any defects.
- Maintaining safe working areas around lifting operations.
- Coordinating with site teams to ensure materials are lifted and positioned safely.
- Carrying out general site duties when required.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of lifting safety and site procedures.
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
