We are currently looking for an experienced Window Fitter to join a project in Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining windows, glass and related fittings to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install windows, doors and glass units accurately and efficiently.
- Measure openings and ensure correct sizing and fitting.
- Remove existing windows and glazing where required.
- Fit uPVC, aluminium and other window and door systems.
- Install and replace glass, frames, seals and associated components.
- Carry out repairs and adjustments to windows and doors.
- Ensure all installations are finished to a high professional standard.
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Follow relevant health and safety procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Carry out general site duties as required.
- Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and site managers.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Glazier / Window Fitter.
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Good understanding of health and safety.
- Able to work to deadlines and maintain a high standard of work.
- Relevant qualifications or experience preferred.
- Immediate start available for the right candidate.
