We are looking for an experienced 3T 360 Excavator Operator to join a busy project in Aldershot. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the excavator safely and efficiently while carrying out a range of excavation, groundworks and finishing duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a 3-tonne 360 excavator safely and efficiently.
- Carry out excavation, trenching, grading, levelling and backfilling works.
- Complete finishing works to a high standard, including fine grading and trimming.
- Work around existing services and other site operations safely.
- Assist with general groundworks and site duties when required.
- Load and move materials using the excavator where appropriate.
- Carry out daily machine checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Follow site RAMS, health & safety procedures and instructions from site management.
- Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working area.
- Work as part of a wider site team and assist with general labouring/other duties as required.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and programme.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS ticket for a 360 Excavator below 10 tonnes / 3T machine.
- Proven experience operating a 3T 360 excavator, particularly on finishing and detailed groundworks.
- Good understanding of site health & safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
- Previous experience working around services and other trades would be advantageous.
