Since 2005, One Way has been helping contractors, developers and infrastructure businesses deliver successful projects through specialist recruitment solutions across the UK. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Business Development Manager to help expand our presence, strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities throughout the construction sector. This is not a traditional recruitment role. We're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, developing networks and creating opportunities. You'll become a key representative of the One Way brand, spending your time in the market rather than behind a desk.
The Role
- Visit construction sites, project offices and client locations throughout the UK.
- Build relationships with site managers, project managers, commercial teams, directors and key decision-makers.
- Identify new projects, opportunities and future recruitment requirements.
- Generate introductions, meetings and commercial opportunities.
- Gather market intelligence and provide valuable insight to the wider business.
- Support the development of existing client relationships.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and industry functions.
- Work closely with our specialist recruitment teams to maximise opportunities.
- Promote and represent the One Way brand professionally at all times.
What We're Looking For
You may currently work in recruitment, sales, account management, construction, plant hire, building materials, site services, estate agency or another relationship-focused role. More importantly, you'll be someone who:

- Can work independently and manage your own schedule.

- Enjoys travelling and being out in the field.

Additional Information
This is a field-based position. UK-wide travel will be required. Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on business needs. Previous recruitment experience is not essential.
