A growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor is expanding its commercial team following continued project wins and the opening of a brand-new regional office. This is an opportunity to join a business on a clear upward trajectory, offering long-term stability, strong progression and exposure to major groundwork and civils packages across residential and commercial developments. All levels of Quantity Surveyor are considered.
Quantity Surveyor Overview: You will be responsible for the commercial management of groundworks and civils projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with experienced operational and commercial teams. Typical projects include:
- Residential developments (100-500+ units)
- Large groundworks and infrastructure packages
- Project values typically £5m-£30m+
Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Cost control, reporting and forecasting
- Measurement, valuations and variations
- Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
- Preparing client applications and final accounts
- Working closely with site teams to protect margins (Level of responsibility will reflect experience.)

- Experience within groundworks, civils or infrastructure
