Our client is currently looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a long-term project in Aldermaston, Berkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced Supervisor looking for a long-term position, with responsibility for overseeing groundworks and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising two variation gangs, ensuring the smooth delivery of groundworks outside of the subcontracted packages.

You will be overseeing a team of up to 5 operatives, coordinating day-to-day activities and making sure works are carried out in line with project requirements, health & safety procedures, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervising and coordinating a team of up to 5 operatives.

Working closely with two variation gangs carrying out various groundworks.

Overseeing groundworks outside of the subcontracted packages.

Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Monitoring progress and ensuring tasks are completed within the required timescales.

Liaising with site management and other trades where required.

Maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and site procedures.

Supporting the team with day-to-day site requirements and resolving any issues that arise.

Ensuring all operatives are working in accordance with RAMS and site procedures.

Requirements
Valid CSCS Card
SSSTS Certificate
Previous experience in a Site Supervisor/Supervisory role, ideally within groundworks or civil engineering.

Strong knowledge of general groundworks and site operations.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Ability to lead and supervise a small team effectively.
2 x checkable references from previous employers/projects.
