The business specialises in delivering infrastructure and groundworks packages for residential developments, working with a range of regional and national housebuilders.
Projects typically include:
- Roads and sewers (S278 / S38 / S104 works)
- Foundations, drainage, and external works
- Full groundworks packages on housing developments
- Multi-phase residential schemes ranging from smaller sites through to large-scale developments

An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team, supporting the delivery of multiple residential groundworks projects. You will act as a key commercial point of contact across projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure strong financial control and project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for all commercial, surveying, and estimating queries on projects
- Ensure the business meets all contractual obligations and responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders and contract documentation
- Manage and agree variations, claims, and design changes
- Produce cost plans, forecasts, and commercial reports
- Monitor and report on project profitability and performance
- Work collaboratively with procurement and site teams to drive project success
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and reporting deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years experience in Quantity Surveying within UK residential groundworks
- Strong understanding of groundworks and infrastructure packages for housing developments
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience using Bluebeam or similar construction software
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders
