We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable 360 Excavator Operator to join a busy construction project in Blackpool.
The successful candidate will be operating a 25-tonne tracked 360 Excavator, carrying out general excavation, earthworks and associated lifting operations safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience operating heavy plant on construction or civil engineering sites and be confident working to site plans, RAMS and instructions from site management.
You should be able to operate the machine accurately and safely in a busy site environment, with good awareness of other plant, groundworkers and site personnel.
Key Responsibilities Operating a 25T 360 excavator safely and efficiently for excavation, earthworks, grading, loading and associated site duties.
Carrying out lifting operations using the excavator in accordance with lift plans, site procedures and manufacturers' requirements.
Completing daily machine checks and reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
Working closely with groundworkers, banksmen, slinger/signallers and site management to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and site safety while following RAMS, permits and site rules.
Working accurately around services, structures and other site hazards, with a strong understanding of exclusion zones and safe working practices.
Ensuring all lifting accessories and equipment are used correctly and reporting any defects immediately.
