As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing 23 care home developments simultaneously, with responsibility for projects from the early design and pre-construction stages through to completion and handover. This is a highly client-facing role, requiring someone who can confidently manage relationships with clients, design teams, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing 23 care home developments simultaneously
- Taking projects from design and pre-construction through to completion
- Acting as a key point of contact for the client throughout the project
- Working closely with design teams, consultants and subcontractors
- Managing programme, quality, health & safety and overall project delivery
- Leading and supporting project and site teams
- Managing subcontractors and the wider supply chain
- Attending and leading client and design meetings
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring key milestones are achieved
- Identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and required quality standards
- Overseeing commissioning, completion and handover
We are specifically looking for a Contracts Manager with strong experience within care home construction. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience delivering care home developments
- Experience taking projects from design/pre-construction through to completion
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
